In 2010, I received a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from the same University, with a thesis developed at Institute of Genomics and Bioinformatics, University of California Irvine, Irvine, USA, by the title: “Fast Search in Chemical Databases using Tanimoto Similarity Bounds and Clustering Techniques”. Since 2010, I work on a Bioinformatic project funded by AIRC (Italian Association for Cancer Research) in a collaboration with University of Chieti. My main areas of interest are Bioinformatics, Data Analysis, Pattern Recognition, Artificial Intelligence.

Some Projects

MIDA

MIDA stands for Modular Interactive Dendrogram Analyzer. It is a modular architecture and software implementation for Matlab, allowing the analysis of hierarchical trees trough user interaction and the development of ad hoc modules. MIDA also features a number of modules written by me and other people. There’s a dedicated page here for MIDA.
